UPDATE 07-31-14: Rudy is back at the shelter. He will need a new owner or family that has a fenced yard and is able to spend time with him. He is an active guy and needs to stay busy! He is also an alpha dog and would do best as the only dog or with another dog who will let him be the boss. He is a wonderful boy who is a volunteer favorite! ORIGINAL BIO: Rudy is a male Blue Heeler mix and we are guessing he is around two years old. He arrived at the shelter as a stray in early October of xxxx. Rudy is a nice boy with a lot of energy and will require long walks. He is a handsome guy that would love to have a fenced in yard to run in. He will make a great addition to any family who is willing to give him love and attention. REMINDER: Please join us on the first Sunday of each month at Family Farm and Home from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. where we will have several of our pets that are available for adoption. Each month we will be bringing just a few of our many, many adorable pets who want nothing more than a new family to call their very own. So please stop in for a little "meet and greet" and see if you meet up with your new best friend! See you on Sunday, November 2, xxxx from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.! We spay/neuter ALL of our pets prior to being adopted, so we ask that you call ahead to make sure the pet you are interested in is able to "come out and play". and is available for adoption! Please note that ALL of our pets are spayed/neutered BEFORE they leave the shelter! We designate all of our pets as being spayed or neutered in their posting, but please check with the shelter to see if your particular favorite is actually ready to go home with you! Depending on scheduling, it sometimes takes a few weeks to get a pet fixed. The adoption fee for a neutered MALE dog or puppy is $125. The adoption fee for a spayed FEMALE dog or puppy is $150. We only accept cash or checks at this time (no credit or debit cards). We usually update petfinder once a week. That means some of the pets we have listed may have already been adopted. That also means we almost always have other pets available that are not listed on petfinder yet.
