Receive $5.00 off the adoption fee for each month that a dog has been at Homeward Bound. You could save up to $60 off the adoption of your new best friend! Dogs with an already reduced fee will receive a maximum $30 additional discount (puppies less than 6 months old are excluded from this promotion). UPDATE 07-07-13: Barney was adopted for a few months but he is now back at the shelter. Barney will need a new home where he will be treated kindly and gently. Barney is afraid of loud voices. He is a super sweet guy who deserves a calm, nurturing environment.
ORIGINAL BIO:
Barney arrived at the shelter in February of xxxx and he is probably around two years old. He is 36 pounds, making him a great size dog. Barney is high energy, is very alert and loves his people pals! He is a super happy, goofy boy who is quickly becoming a volunteer favorite! Barney loves to be loved and if he could skip he would be skipping! He was very interested in the cats during his photo op. Barney has a beautiful markings and would make a great walking partner or someone to play with. Please stop in and see Barney!
REMINDER: Please join us on the first Sunday of each month at Family Farm and Home from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. where we will have several of our pets that are available for adoption. Each month we will be bringing just a few of our many, many adorable pets who want nothing more than a new family to call their very own. So please stop in for a little "meet and greet" and see if you meet up with your new best friend! See you on Sunday, November 3rd, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.!
If you would like to meet one of our pets, please visit us during adoption hours: Wednesday from noon until 6:00; Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from noon until 4:00. If you would like more information on a pet, please call us at 231-723-xxxx during the adoption hours listed above. We can also provide a limited amount of information by e-mail.
All of our pets are spayed/neutered BEFORE they leave the shelter! The adoption fee for a neutered MALE dog or puppy is $125. The adoption fee for a spayed FEMALE dog or puppy is $150. We only accept cash or checks at this time (no credit or debit cards).
Please note that we update petfinder once a week. That means some of the pets we have listed may have already been adopted. That also means we almost always have other pets available that are not listed on petfinder yet.
